Some random thoughts and pictures.....

Nintendo This is my daughter first thing in the morning Thursday. Totally engrossed in her game with no clue what was going on around her. Sign of the times..... ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Toll Lane This is an every day sight for me.... Unfortunately, I work right off the toll road.... Every day I have to pay $2.25 for the privledge of going to work. But today was annoying.... The chick in the little Honda in front of me... She pulls up to the coin box... drops some change in (who knows how much?) and then sits there stupidly when the gate doesn't open. She tries to pull forwrd like somehow being closer to the gate will magically make it open.... Then she does my favorite.... she throws it in reverse and looks back at me like I'm gonna go somewhere. Lady... there are 20 cars behind you getting pissed.... nobody is gonna back up... just throw some more money in the bucket and let's get moving! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ For those who just can't get enough of my wonderful sunflowers... here are a few more pics of them: Sunflowers Sunflowers Sunflowers Sunflowers Sunflowers And then to finish up the day today, we went and watched this- Fireworks 030

You have to pay a toll to get to work? That's crazy! So, is it worth $2.25 to get to work? ;-)

Love the engrossed daughter. That happens here A LOT!

Why do we have fireworks???

Mostly because we live right down the street from what has become the biggest tourist trap- The Kemah Boardwalk http://www.kemahboardwalk.com/

Every Friday in June they are having fireworks.

Howdy. Haven't been here in awhile. Nice photos. One looks like a Dallas toll booth that I passed through many times. Here from Michele's. Have a great weekend.

what i find fascinating is that it appears that you took a photo of her car BEFORE she got to the toll, as if somehow knowing ahead of time there would be a story to tell about her?

Good gravy..if I had to pay $2.25 everyday to get to work, I'd be missing a LOT of work! :) I am broke most of the time.

Your daughter is so gorgeous!

Still loving the sunflower photos.

You know, I might...might...care a little more about Tom and Katie if he wasn't making a flippin fool of himself all over the place. :)

I was snapping pictures while sitting in line.... I have a million pictures of random garbage that I take while driving around.... But this one happened to get the story that went with it....

I have another picture of a line of traffic in front of me that I didn't realize was stopped until after I lowered the camera... thank God for good brakes!

I don't miss toll booths at all! I wonder if we can change the name to forced charity machines. I think some of them play music or make statements for you now-a-days.
