Here goes nothing.....
I got up this morning... and stuck one of these on....
Yep... I'm quitting smoking again!
Yay me!
Thoughts and prayers folks.... I'm gonna need all the help I can get.
Sayin' a prayer for ya. Work hard and stick with it! It will be worth it!
You might want to check out www.quitnet.com You can get cool stats like: Quite Date, Time Smoke-Free, Cigarettes NOT smoked, Lifetime saved, money saved. It's pretty neat if that kind of stuff motivates ya. I'm not a smoker, but I know of people who were that used the site and liked it.
Best of luck -- I feel your pain...or I did. I quit smoking at 11:58 PM December 31, 2005. It can be tough, but it'll be worthwhile in the end.
The link below details some of the milestones in my quit. It may help you in that "ok, I'm not that messed up" kind of way, and maybe you'll laugh once or twice.
Good Luck. I know it;s hard as I am A former smoker. Maybe this will help. I heard about a study that said when a parent successfully quits smokingit has an even bigger effect on their children to not start, than if the parent had never smoked at all.

I can't offer any advice since I was fortunate enough to never have started but...

It might help if you imagine your lungs slowly rotting away with each smoke.

Good Luck, Guppyman. You can do it!
You don't know me as I just surfed in from Blogmad, but I wish you luck and all the fortitude you need to reach your goal. Hope you make it.
Awesome, gup! I wish you all the best and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as usual. I've never smoked, but I know it HAS to be hard!
God hates a quitter. Just kidding, good luck
