Now for something completely pathetic.....
This guy wants a date with Natalie Portman.
Somehow, he thinks this website will help him get it.
Good luck dude!
You Might Be A Redneck Jedi If...
1. You ever heard the phrase, "May the force be with y'all."
2. Your Jedi robe is camouflage.
3. You have ever used your light saber to open a bottle of Bud
4. At least one wing of your X-Wings is primer colored.
5. You can easily describe the taste of an Ewok.
6. You have ever had a land-speeder up on blocks in your yard.
7. The worst part of spending time on Dagobah is the dadgum skeeters.
8. Wookies are offended by your B.O.
9. You have ever used the force to get yourself another beer so you
didn't have to wait for a commercial.
10. You have ever used the force in conjunction with fishing/bowling.
11. Your father has ever said to you, "Shoot, son come on over to the
dark side...it'll be a hoot."
12. You have ever had your R-2 unit use its self-defense electro-shock
thingy to get the barbecue grill to light.
13. You ever fantasized about Princess Leia wearing Daisy Duke shorts.
14. You have the doors of your X-wing welded shut and you have to get
in through the window.
15. Although you had to kill him, you kinda thought that Jabba the Hutt
had a pretty good handle on how to treat his women.
16. You have a cousin who bears a strong resemblance to Chewbacca.
17. You suggested that they outfit the Millennium Falcon with redwood
deck.
18. You were the only person drinking Jack Daniels during the cantina
scene.
19. You never saw anything wrong with Leia and Luke "hookin' up", and
Han shoulda never interfeared.....
20. If you hear . . . "Luke, I am your father...and your uncle"

Artsy nekkid people.....
OK... in my travels around the net, I stumbled across this site. Before you go see it, I should warn you, it contains adult content and is not really suitable for work or when you have children near. But this is just friggin' cool (at least I think so) and I had to share. Naked bodies are just more fun this way
Storm damage in the garden.....
Best Star Wars yet.....
I went and saw the new Star Wars finally today! Woohoooo.....!!!!!
It was Bad-Ass! Finally, with the LAST one we finally get one worthy of being called Star Wars!

I've created a blogster!
My wonderful and beautiful wife created her own blog today (or now, I guess it was yesterday).... It's been pretty funny watching how into it she has gotten.... how she gets excited with every comment... how she's been visiting other people's blogs and checking it all out... But somehow... we got on the computers in the morning and never really got off of them.... It's bedtime and we are still sitting here... checking it all out....
Hmmmmmmmm... I wonder if I should have encouraged this now.....?
lol
Whatever you do, Don't press the big red dot
Hiya
Ok everybody.... today, my wife decided to make her own blog. Everybody go visit and make her feel welcome!
Good Morning
Trying to catch up on life this morning.....
For the rest of my garden pics... click here. I took a bunch yesterday and a few turned out really cool.
I finally got to watch the American Idol finale.... It was pretty good. The Crimetime Live story was funny as Hell.... And David Hasselhoff's appearance was classic. Bo got to play with Skynard along with the rest getting to play with somebody or other.... Oh wait.... Kenny G played with Anthony and Anwar... I couldn't figure out if I should feel more sorry for the singers having to listen to Kenny G, or to feel sorry for Kenny G having to listen to them. Maybe I should feel sorry for America, that was pathetic to the point of ears bleeding...
Then the Keeny Wayne Shepard playing Walk This Way with Constantcrap, Jessica and Nadia.... That was the worst "singing" I've seen since... well... since Anthony was on stage. OMG this sucked!
Anyway... Overall... I am dissapointed... Carrie shouldn't have won... but Bo should do better anyways. Betcha he outsells her.
Enough about AI ... It's over and I can move on!
Let's see.... Other than work.... I'm clueless what's been going on in the world....
Guess I'll go find out and get back to ya'll with more later. Enjoy!

My last three days.....
Just figured I'd let ya'll in on what's been happening....
Tuesday, we had a piece of equipment fail that caused our entire network to go down (Did I mention I am in communications?) Anyway- we had planned to migrate off this piece of equipment slowly over the next three months. We just did it in three days. In the last three days, I worked about 60 hours or so....
Needless to say, I am tired as hell.... I came in this morning just to get a co-worker up to speed and I'm out of here for the long weekend!
Take care... hopefully I can start posting again soon.

Quick update....
Worked till midnight last night.... and the night before....
Back again at 8 am.... probably going to be late again tonight.
Gee... what a fun week.
Hopefully, I'll talk to ya'll later.
Have fun!

Still Working
Still at work....14 hours later- with no end in sight....
This SUCKS!!!!
And Bo lost.... go figure.
Busy busy busy.....
Work is nuts, so who knows when the next time I'll get to post anything.....
Last night, I thought the songs sucked. Bo should win, but it's been reported that Carrie already has.... guess we'll have to wait and see.
See ya'll when I can.

Today's News....
Today, I was taking my morning cruise through the news sites, and here are a few stories that grabbed my interest. Enjoy!
Two hurt in mock light sabre duel
Two Star Wars fans are in a critical condition in hospital after apparently trying to make light sabres by filling fluorescent light tubes with petrol.
OK... I don't know about you, but for some reason I don't think I would ever think to do this... Let's swing flaming glass tubes at eachother and see what happens!

More American Idol contoversy???
Too funny.... It seems that the UK Independant News put up a story about top British buisness people.... The last line reads:
"and Simon Fuller, the pop impresario whose American Idol TV competition was won this year by Carrie Underwood."
The page has been taken down, but here is Google's cached version of it....

If that link dies... Here's a screenshot that someone over at Sucks got of the cached page:

My weekend?
Let's see... Saturday, we went and helped out with a car wash benefitting one of my wife's co-workers.... his house burned down a week or so ago, so hime and his 5 kids are homeless with no stuff for awhile. We were out there for three hours between 10am and 1pm.... I usually don't sunburn, but my arms are quite red... But it doesn't compare to my wife.... she has definately turned in to a redneck after that. She has a bright red painfill ring all the way around her neck. Poor thing... I've been drowning her in aloe.
Sunday... I got up and mowed the yard in the morning... then we ended up just laying around for most of the day. We tried out a new church Sunday evening but neither of us were too comfortable there.
Other than that, I didn't do too much. I love weekends like that... when you actually get a chance to relax a little bit.

Revenge of the Sith
‘Star Wars’ grosses record $50 million
I'm glad I decided to put off seeing the new Star Wars movie until next weekend. I hate crowds... I hate full movie theaters...
It sucks when you have to balance that with wanting to see this ASAP.
But I have a built in excuse.... I have read that this one is not for the kids... so I have my 7 year old daughter this week... so I can't go, right?
Hopefully... the crowds will calm down and I'll get to go soon though... I don't know how long I can hold out without seeing it.
Recent Friends.....
I just wanted to say hi to the recent folks who have added me to their blogrolls. True Jersey Girl and Bridget Unnel, Girl . You ladies have been fun.
Also I discovered my link on Redhead Mommy's blogroll (which has now been added to mine), and I added Thoughts Outside My Head also.
And of course, there's always Texas_Ivy's Place on there. She was the first person to link to me. :) I need my blogroll to grow.... If anyone wants to hop on there, just let me know. And feel free to add me to your list of links... I like the traffic.
Anyway- thanks. Ya'll are making it fun.
The world is up in arms today because the Sun printed a picture of Saddam in his underwear. I read a poll over at MSNBC that has 52% of the people saying that Saddam's rights were violated by showing these pictures. WTF? I see a well fed guy in clean clothes. It's a lot more than he deserves. What "rights" does he have? He's lucky he hasn't been hung yet (though that time is coming soon).
Why does anyone care? Why is there such an outrage when something like this is shown, but nothing when an American contractor gets his head cut off with a dull knife? Where is the world's outrage then?

OK... I decided that I have to ask.... WTF happen to Gwen Stefani ???????
I flip through radio stations constantly in the car.... whenever my daughter hears Hollaback Girl.... she screams... stop daddy! So I have to sit through this crap.....
A few times I've been around that track
So it's not just gonna happen like that
Cause I ain't no hollaback girl
I ain't no hollaback girl
OK... So what exactly is a hollaback girl (or gur, as she pronounces it in the song)??? Gwen.... do they not call you after you give it up?
And then there's this:
This Shit is Bananas,
B-A-N-A-N-A-S.
Ummmmmm.... Spelling lessons for idiots?
What happened to the next part:
In Pajamas
P-A-J-A-M-A-S
Why'd she have to make it sound like a cheer.... My little one is fascinated with cheerleading... she wants to be one.... so of course... this song sounds like something she wants to hear.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Gwen.... you came out and you were hot and sounded good.... why the change to this crap you are putting out now? it boggles the mind.
How Liberal / Conservative Are You?
Interesting... according to this, I am more liberal than I thought I was.
lol
;)

Personal Responsibility: 50% Conservative, 50% Liberal |
Fiscal Issues: 100% Conservative, 0% Liberal |
Ethics: 50% Conservative, 50% Liberal |

Bye Bye Baby V
The votes are in America... And as everyone predicted, Vonzell was booted off American Idol last night. The two favorites, who were ordained early on in this competition are set to face off next week.
Everybody got to go home.... They got to sign stuff at local Wal-Marts, they got keys to the city, they got all kinds of stuff.... The best being for Bo, when Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Rickey Medlocke and Ean Evans met him coming off the plane.... How cool would that be? You walk off and there are a couple of your heros waiting for you? And then he got to jam with them a little later. Wow.
Anyway- Can't wait till next week... it should be good.

American Idol
Last night on American Idol, Clive Davis was the guest judge.... Each contestant got to sing three songs, one picked by Clive, one of their own and one picked by the judges.... Here's my take on how they did.
Vonzell Solomon
Clive Davis' pick:
Dionne Warwick- I’ll Never Love This Way Again
Vonzell got hit by Clive with her weakest point.... she can't sing a ballad to save her life. She was shaky, pitchy, and overall just didn't sound good on this one.... I thought it was her weakest performance in the competition.
Vonzell's Pick:
Aretha Franklin- Chain of Fools
She made up for her first song here... This was Baby V's audition song, and I can see why she chose it. She nailed it... full of energy... sounded great. This was by far her best performance.
Simon's Pick:
Donna Summer- On the Radio
I thought this one was better than her first song, but it was still pretty rough. I don't think we will be seeing Vonzell next week.
Bo Bice
Clive Davis' pick:
Elton John- Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me
Wow! Bo nailed it. My wife even commented that she'd like to have a copy of Bo doing that... Bo came out strong tonight.
Bo's pick:
In a Dream by Badlands (a capella)
What? He's going to sing without the band? Woohooo... I think they should all have to do this at some point. Bo did a great job on this... I don't know the song, but this ballsy move he made may have just won him the entire competition. Best performance of the entire season.
Paula Abdul's pick:
I Can’t Get No Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones
I wasn't thrilled with this, but I think it's because of my dislike of the Stones. Bo did a good job, and after three strong performances, it really was Bo's night last night. He should be the next American Idol.
And Simon had the greatest comment of the night after this one... He said it was just a piece of fluff, like you (as he motioned to Paula). I had to rewind about 8 times and hear that again... I was rolling.
Carrie Underwood
Clive Davis' pick:
Crying sung by Roy Orbison and k.d. lang
Clive did not do Carrie any favors with this pick... That was awful. Better than Vonzell's first one, but still it was not good.
Carrie's pick:
Making Love Out of Nothing at All by Air Supply
Ummmmm... Air Supply? What possessed carrie to choose this one? Wow.... But it looked like she impressed Clive with her pick... After all.. it was one he worked on. She did good and showed off the power she has behind her vocals.
Randy's pick:
Man! I Feel Like a Woman! by Shania Twain
Strange arrangement on this by the band... She's definately not Shania... good performance... It was the most animated I think that Carrie has ever been. She should make it through to next week with this, but it wasn't great.
Over all- it was the Bo Show. Bo showed what a great performer he is under pressure, and the other two showed they weren't ready for it yet. Paula even stated at one point that it would be a hard choice between the girl's, showing that it's her opinion that one of them will be leaving tonight.
If I had to say, I think it will be Vonzell- Leading up to the Little Bit Country/Little bit Rock-n-Roll finale between Carrie and Bo.
If Bo performs like he did last night next week, he should win this whole thing.

American Idol Tonight.....
Hey... I just realized that tonight is Final three night on American Idol. With two of my favorite shows having just ended (Survivor and The Amazing Race), I guess AI will be the only one left that gets me going (At least till Big Brother starts next month). So... tonight, we have Vonzell (who will go home tomorrow) and Carrie and Bo.
Let's see how close I can be to what the judges will say tonight:
Carrie - (After a mediocre performance where she forgets half the words)
Randy: That rocked! Props to you for that!
Paula: Carrie, I have to stand up and say that was the best performance of the night.
Simon: Why do I bother coming here? Everybody knows that you are my choice as American Idol- the shows are just a formality. Let's start recording.
Bo- (after tripping over the mic stand and falling head first onto the judges table)
Randy: Dawg! That rocked! Props to you for that!
Paula: Bo, I have to stand up and say that was the best performance of the night.
Simon: Bo... That was great. I only hope that I can wrap you up in a contract also after I give this competition to Carrie.
Vonzell- (after the performance of her life)
Randy- Baby V. What happened to you up there? That was pitchy and just didn't work for me.
Paula- Pitchy pitchy pitchy... Sorry... but that was horrible.
Simon: Sounded like a karaoke bar in Hell! Why did we even let you in this competition?
Ryan- So there you have it America... If you want Carrie, Dial 888-IDOLS-01
If you want Bo, Dial 888-IDOLS-01
Or if you liked Vonzell, Dial 888-IDOLS-01
And no... it's not fixed to give the whole thing to Carrie... really it's not! We know how to sort the votes.... Just make sure you spend the money on text messaging us!
Seacrest out!

Survivor Finale
After last week, I was starting to wonder if it was possible for Ian to make a worse mistake than he did after not taking Katie with him when he won the car. Well..... last night proved that yes, he is more stupid than I thought.
We start the show with the final four, Jenn, Ian, Katie and Tom all getting the spoils of making it this far in the game- More food. OMG... if i have to watch these people eat anything else I am going to get sick. Rmemeber old Survivors where they would see themselves in the mirror and be amazed at how much weight they lost? Remember seeing people's ribs? Not this time around.... I think these folks actually gained weight while on the island.
Anyway- Ian and the girls are plotting against Tom... If Tom doesn't get immunity... he's out of there...
So of course, who gets immunity tonight? Tom. Poor Ian... Anyway... They all sit down and tell Jenn that it's her night to go. Everything seems to be cool until she realizes that she doesn't just have to lay there and take it... she brings it up to Tom about what Ian had to say about voting him out. This works... Ian screws up and says he'd have a hard decision to make if he had won....
So at TC, Tom and Jenn vote for Ian to go home, while Ian and Katie vote for Jenn to leave. After the revote, it is still tied up.... Which brings out a fire mini-challenge. Ian burns hotter than Jenn, and he gets to stay.
After they get back to camp, they unload on Ian.... end up making him feel crappy.
Next immunity challenge is the endurance challenge.... each of them need to cling to a floating stripper pole for as long as they can. Katie lasts around 4 or 5 hours and gives it up.... Tom and Ian sit around for almost 12 hours. Then Ian makes the dumbest move I have ever seen.... he says he will get down if Tom takes Katie to the final two. WTF? Why spend 12 hours on a pole just to give up the whole game just like that? So in a makeshift on the spot tribal council.... Tom votes Ian off...
Final two usually hangs at camp and spends time destroying everything.... but all these two did was stick their table in the fire... dishes, bottles, etc.. and all....
Then we're off to the final tribal council.
Questions from the losers...
Coby - Tom... I told you I thought you were hot... why didn't you ever cuddle with me at night?
Gregg- Uh.... wow... ya got me... duhhhhh....
Oh yeah.. and katie... You are pathetic.
Janu- Katie wouldn't even answer her question... sh figured there was no way she had her vote anyways.
Steph - I thought we had an alliance...
Caryn - Was I just the pawn I think I was? Duh Caryn.
Jenn - Why didn't you repect my game? Tom's answer... you had a game? I thought you were just a lazy ass hiding in the shadows....
and Ian... Am I stupid or what?
Anyway- they all voted and Jeff took off into the jungle, and walked right up onto the stage in the studio. Man... I wanted to see his amazing cheese sequence where he cruises halfway around the world on a jet ski or something.....
But he reads the votes, and sure enough, Tom wins it all.
He got the million bucks... he got the car I want....
Next they run through the reunion.... Pretty boring stuff.... but we get to see everybody all cleaned up. The funniest part was after Coby told everyone about his adopted kid that he named Janu.... Janu was looking at the pic and looking like she was about to bawl.... and Coby jerks it away to show somebody else... It just struck me as hilarious for some reason.
Anyway- Congrats Tom. Good job!
Next time, they are going to be playing in Mayan ruins. We have to wait until Septemeber before we get to see that one though....

Survivor recap....
Well... After last week when they took Gregg by suprise, they got back to camp and Jenn was suprisingly calm about it. The plotting continued... Tom and Caryn, Ian and Jenn, Tom and Ian, Ian and Katie... everyone going a different direction.....
The reward challenge turns out to be playing for a new Corvette and a night in a mansion...
They have to pole out to a bouy on a raft and retrieve 5 bags that contain distances to big cities around the world, then figure out how far away they are from each. Ian wins. Then he shocks everybody by telling Katie that he's taking Tom instead of her for a drive. This was one of the dumbest moves I have ever seen on this game, but then... who blamed Ian for being the smart guy out there.
Anyway... turns out that this is Ian's first car. What a first car... a brand new Corvette convertable.... Damn him!
Anyway- back at camp, Katie is pissed! They decide that one of the guys is going home tonight.
When Tom and Ian get back, all hell breaks lose with Katie and Ian... They looked like there is a lot more going on between them than just some kind of Survivor friendship... The fight they had looked like a couple that had been together quite awhile.... I wonder if they have edited out a bunch from these two... Anyway... they cry, hug and all that and seem to make up.
The immunity challenge consisted of crossing an obstacle course and memorizing a puzzle, then comming back and putting another puzzle together to look just like it. Using all this brain power will guarantee that these folks are going to take awhile to get this figured out. Finally, three weeks later... Tom gets it right and wins immunity.
Everyone at camp is paranoid about how the votes will go... They try to get Katie intimidated enough to vote with Tom and Ian.
At Tribal Council... Caryn goes off the deep end and tells everybody who is in an alliance with who, and throws in some extra details just to make suer everybody is confused as hell...
But it doesn't do her much good... She ens up getting the axe, and now we have our final four for Sundays finale.
With the way this season played out, I am not too thrilled with any of this.... For more than the first half of this season, Ulong kept losing, so we'd see how things were playing out at their camp. We knew all their alliances, we knew all about them. But Koror hardly got any camera time at all... so then with just a few episodes left, we have only Koror left.... It kinda sucks...
I like the chance to get to know everybody. I wish we had that chance this time... so now we have some folks who i could care less about trying to get a million dollars in the end...
Hopefully next time, they figure out that we like the merge... we like to see folks who we have gotten to know in the end...
Who's going to win? I don't care at this point. I'd probably say Jenn will walk away with it... she has been so quiet and behind the scenes... I doubt she's even had a chance to piss anybody off yet.

Anthony - you are the weakest link... Goodbye!
Well.... Anthony is finally gone! It will be a thrill to sit down and not listen to his nails on the chalkboard voice week after week...
But what I really want to know is...
WTF was up with Carrie at the end... Sh was bawling and mouthed "I Love You" during Anthony's final song... Is something going on there? I thought Kerrie had some kind of taste. Maybe with it being her first time out of a small town... she found this foreign kid an adventure or something... I don't know...
Strange days indeed.
So our final three are Bo, Carrie and Vonzell...
Anybody want to put money on Vonzell making it to the final two? I'm sure the payoff would be enormous... I'm sure it's a million to one odds.
So I guess we have two more weeks till the "Little bit coutry/Little bit Rock-n-Roll" finale between Bo and Carrie.
Want to see something really funny? Check out who Vote For The Worst has as their pick now.

American Idol Final Four
Hey hey hey... It's Wednesday morning, and I'm sure everyone wants to know what to think about the trainwreck that was American Idol last night.... Glad I can be of service, here are my thoughts.....
Tonight's themes were one song by Gamble and Huff and one country song.... Country? Looks like Carrie should feel at home......
Carrie Underwood-
Sin Wagon from the Ditsy Twits
Gamble and Huff’s If You Don’t Know Me By Now
I have to go with the exact opposite from the way the judges saw this. I thought her Ditsy Twits impersonation sucked. Of course, it may be just my prejudice against the Dixie Chunk, but that song just plain sucks! For a girl who supposebly sings country, I was not impressed. On the other song, I actually liked the version she did... It didn't sound like the original, but I saw that as a good thing. Go figure...
Bo Bice-
Travis Tritt’s It’s a Great Day to Be Alive
For the Love of Money by the O’Jays
Bo... He looked bored on the first go round... and I have been reading too many opinions about Bo and the mic stand.... It got on my nerves tonight. Dude... the mic will slip out with just a little effort and then you can be free! Anyway, For Love of Money rocked and was by far the best performance of the night.
Vonzell Solomon-
Trisha Yearwood’s How Do I Live
Gamble and Huff Don’t Leave Me This Way
OK... What was up with Vonzell tonight? Did she hear that Vote For The Worst picked Anthony as their contestant of choice rather than her? Is she scared that she's leaving tonight? Either way... She did not look like she belonged up there on either song... and the tears... they even made the judges be nice to her when she didn't really deserve it. Bye bye baby V...
Anthony Fedorov-
Lonestar’s I’m Already There
If You Don’t Know Me By Now
Anthony is painful to watch, and has been since this whole thing started. Pathetic performances on both songs, followed by praise from the judges???? I was like.... WTF are you three watching???? Is this the guy who Paula is sleeping with this season??? I just don't get it. One thought is maybe if they give the appearance that Anthony is not the worst.... maybe the VFTW crowd will change their minds and not vote for him? He did inspire the best comment from Simon of the night:
"I think you need soul to sing this song – it’s like Woody Allen trying to play the lead in ‘Shaft.’" — Simon Cowell, after "If You Don’t Know Me By Now."
All in all... I'd say Vonzell gets the boot, but it would not hurt my feelings at all if Anthony beat her out the door.
Now on to the controversy-
American Idol Gets The Numbers Wrong Again!
Apparently they put Carrie's numbers up for Bo, Vonzell and Anthony on the closed captioning of last night's show. Which brings on the question.... How many deaf people are watching and then calling in to vote for these folks? If you are watching on CC... Can you really judge what they sounded like? Just curious.....
Here's what Fox has to say about it....
STATEMENT REGARDING CLOSED CAPTIONING ON AMERICAN IDOL
MAY 10, 2005
During the second round of songs on the Tuesday, May 10 live broadcast, the closed-caption graphic listing call-in numbers for the various contestants was identical for every performer. While the producers and network acknowledge the closed-captioning error, the correct call-in number for each performer was still read by Ryan Seacrest and broadcast on screen during each performance, as well as the show recap.
The producers and network apologize to our hearing-impaired viewers for any confusion, and the situation was immediately corrected for our tape-delayed west coast broadcast.
Too funny!
And I'd like to congratulate Uchenna and Joyce for winning the Amazing Race last night! Way to go!

Tonight's Reality TV...
Tonight is the season finale of The Amazing Race. Can't wait for that... Three teams left:
(Pics borrowed from CBS's website)
I can't believe it, but after watching these folks... I hope Rob & Amber win it. Or Uchenna & Joyce... I wouldn't mind seeing Ron win, but I can't stand Kelly after her POW comments... She is a friggin nutcase.
So we'll see how it all turns out tonight....
And then there is American Idol. After last week's dissapointment, the final 4 just isn't as much fun. Sure, Vote For The Worst is trying to pimp Anthony, but I just can't get excited over him as a choice. I could have been excited over Janay... Even Mikala would have made a great worst... Scott, by far was the ultimate candidate... But Anthony? Yes... He is the worst... but he has nothing to make him stand out.... nothing to say.... yeah... it'd be funny to see them get stuck trying to package him.... just blah.....
So we'll see who gets to step up next week to lose to Bo and Carrie.... I get the feeling Baby V will be leaving tomorrow.

Monday night TV
It's Monday again....
This is the one night a week where my wife and I can't agree on what to watch on TV... She likes the Nanny shows, I started watching wrestling again....
I tried- I tried real hard to watch the Nanny shows with her... But after awhile, they all looked like the same show over and over again... Kids are a pain, Dad is at work, so mom feels like she should baby her kids through everything to the point they bacame spoiled little brats. Nany makes some rules, mom resists.... but eventually all is right with the world. With a variation here and there... that's both Nanny 911 and Supernanny.
So she ends up back in the bedroom watching them, while I end up on the couch watching Monday night Raw... Raw is cool for the simple fact that you can miss years worth of the show... come back one night and while the people have changed, you can pretty much figure out who is who, who likes who... who is feuding with who and whatnot before the night is over. Go figure... I thought I was done with wrestling, but I got sucked back in.
At least before she dissapears on me, we can sit down and watch something on the DVR or watch the How'd they do that Extreme makeover deal...
The rest of the week we get along with what we watch....
Tuesdays are for American Idol and Amazing Race
Wednesdays are the AI voteoff, Life on a Stick (Cheesy but we love it) and Stacked....
Thursday is Survivor night. CSI ususally too
Not even sure what's on over the weekend days... but we usually find something...
Soon though, all the current shows will have their finale and then we'll have to find something else to do.... maybe we'll finally get around to cleaning up the office or the spare bedroom so I can start building my trains... Or we'll get more active and start taking longer walks than the ones we try to take every evening...
But Monday nights suck...
Good Morning!
As if you cared, I figured I'd tell you about my weekend.....
Saturday we went to a carnival... My daughter wanted to ride the Gravitron- it's all she talked about for two days before Saturday actually got there..... So we go out to the carnival... she rides some little rides with a friends 4 year old... then she's ready to go get on the Gravitron.... Until somebody gets off and throws up. They tells us it's going to be a little while because they have to clean up the mess he made inside.... She sees that and she says she doesn't want to do it anymore.
So we go ride Whiplash... I Hop on with her and we start to go around... up and down... round and round... We are both having a blast.... Then they reverse it... still having fun... she's loving it.... Then they reverse it again... cool... long ride... she's grinning from ear to ear... I'm starting to get ready for it to be over.... Then they almost stop, but the guy decides to reverse it one more time....
I must be getting old. I started getting hot... sweating is more like it... I start feeling like I may see my lunch soon if this thing doesn't stop. I apparently went pretty pail too according to my wife. By the time it ended... I didn't want to ride anything else...
My days of carnival rides spinning for ever seems to be over. I didn't ride anything else... as a matter of fact, I stayed feeling pretty crappy for the rest of the weekend.
My daughter did get to ride the Gravitron finally... my niece showed up and went on with her. My daughter loved it, and made her go again....
Anyway- Yesterday started off with getting up and slipping out to go get flowers for my wife for Mother's Day. I wonder if she really realizes how much I appreciate the way she has stepped up to being a super step-mom to my pride and joy! I know that I can't show her how absolutely awesome I think she is, but I try....
Then, we went to brunch at my grandmother's place... she is living in a retirement home... Those folks have more stuff going on than I'd know what to do with.... It was cool.
And then last night, we got one Hell of a storm... My poor sunflowers that started the day at over 6 feet tall are now all leaning... I need to go get stakes for them and get them back upright... I don't think one of them is over 2 feet tall this morning.
So... there's my weekend... Hopefully everybody had a good one!

Cleaner air speeding Global Warming?
Here's one for you....
For years now, we've been told that we are polluting the planet and causing global warming and other such nonsense.... Now here's a story about the fact that it's worked... we've cleaned up the air in quite a few places..... BUT the kicker is... The clean air is letting more sunlight through to the planet's surface, thus causing......... Global warming!
LMFAO!
I laugh at these goofballs who think we can do anything to stop any of this one way or another.... The Earth will get warmer and cooler... nothing we can do will speed that process up or slow it down... But a lot of people are making big money by scaring folks into believing it all....
Friggin junk science......
VFTW and Survivor
Good news! Vote For The Worst's site is back up today!!!
They have switched to Anthony.... If you'd like to support the cause, or just see what all the fuss is about, click here.
Now on to Survivor....
As Survivor started this week, I couldn't help but to be pissed off at these remaining assholes for booting Steph last week. Like I want to sit here and watch you guys who I now extremely hate battle for a million dollars? Well... you know I will anyway... but that's beside the point... I want Steph back! Anyway.... We start off with Tom telling Caryn that she's the outsider and she'll need to win immunity if she wants to stay here...
The reward challenge was a trivia challenge... if you get it right, you get to throw one of three handles in front of each of the survivors to knock them out.... Greg ended up winning and got to take two people with him... He showed his alliance with his choices... Katie and Jenn...
So they took off on a yaght and got to shower, then went up for a massage.... Greg's "friend" took over the massage and slaped his... uhhhh..."friend" on the butt... Looks like it's family visit time....
Katie's brother-in-law and Jenn's sister also showed up. The saddest part was Greg and his "friend" looked like they were the closest out of all of these folks... poor things... Anyway, they did make me jealous tonight.... they pulled into a cove and hopped out to go snorkel with dolphins. Lucky bastards!
Meanwhile, back at the camp....
Ian brought up the fact that Greg seems to have some control of the girls... Katie and his bunkmate Jenn. He suggests that they go ahead and shake up the alliance now and vote for Greg, even if it means a tie vote. They decide they'd rather take their chances with the purple rock than let Greg take control....
The immunity challenge was a series of past challenges that half of these people have never participated in... First, a rope maze- Caryn is out... Next, a puzzle... Katie is gone... Next, eating Balutes puts Greg out... then Jenn goes when she can't untie some knots. Leaves Ian and Tom in a shooting competition... we learn why Tom is a fireman and not a cop... he can't shoot.
So Ian has immunity. Right before tribal council, he pulls Katie aside and tells her of the plan to boot Greg... she decides that she better go along rather than risk getting the rock... so Greg is the next one gone.
Next week, Ian and Katie yell at eachother... and Katie and Jenn go after Caryn....
Ya know, if Caryn would have gone with the girls last week, Steph would still be there and we'd happily see the guys getting devoured right now.... Who knows how it'll turn out now.

Fallen Idol / Scott Savol voted out.....
OK...
I'm dissapointed today. First, Scott got voted off American Idol. I don't think Scott got the fewest votes by far... I honestly think that was rigged. Anthony just plain sucks! Now, the VFTW crew are saying they'll vote for Anthony... I just can't get behind that. He is by far the worst, but I honestly don't want to see him ever again....
Scott was the perfect candidate for the Vote for the worst... Criminal record, attitude, ugly, confrontational.... he was the total package! I'm going to miss him being up there.....
So now I guess I really will be pulling for the best that's still there.... It has to be Carrie or Bo who wins this thing... preferably Bo.
Anyway- Next I wasted an hour of my life watching the Fallen Idol show.... I don't buy it. First off.... He stayed out partying all night, then went in and sang in the infamous kissing paula's hand performance.... Afterwards, he was given her phone number and stayed up thinking about it till midnight before he called.... then went to her house until 5am that night? So... he was going on at least 48 hours with no sleep the first time he went over there? I'll bet that made quite an impression....
He just seems like he is pimping his new album... and from what I heard last night, that's gonna suck... and pimping the book he's trying to release.
And the biggest part about not believing him... Is there anybody out there who thinks Corey Clark is straight????? That boy (and his friends they interviewed last night) makes Ru Paul look like a straight man.
I have faith that Paula has more taste than that.
And where was Life on a Stick last night? That show is so stupid it's funny. It sucked not getting my braindead humor fix.
Just a dissapointing evening all around on my TV.

Vote for the worst
For anybody that is out there looking for votefortheworst.com The website is currently having a problem. My understanding is that the owner is looking for a new webhost, and hopes to have the site back up ASAP. Sorry that the links aren't working at the moment... Lets hope and pray that enough people voted for Scott anyways.
votefortheworst.com has not been shut down, especially not by FOX or anyone affiliated with American Idol. Any and all rumors you are reading are 100% false. There has been a great deal of press about the site lately and the traffic seems to have overloaded the server. Our technical team is currently working on the issue and the site will be back up as soon as possible.
Reality wrapup- American Idol and Amazing Race
OK... Top 5 time, which means everybody gets to sing two songs this week... And what's this... Paula looked almost sober tonight???? WTF? Is she really that worried about tonights airing of Primetime Live's Fallen Idol?
Anyway... this was the most subdued I think I have ever seen her... She was just kind of there.
On to my reviews and thoughts... With just 5 people left, it breaks down like this for me... You have two amateurs, two superstars and Scott. Scott is the wildcard in all this... he has good enough vocals to beat both Anthony and Vonzell, but his look, attitude and criminal record turn a lot of folks off... But the Vote For The Worst support is helping him overcome all that... Can't wait to see how it all turns out in the end.
And tonight's categories.... I've realized how out of touch I am with modern music... I knew all the old songs they sang tonight, but I only barely knew two of the top 40 songs they decided on.
On to tonights performances....
Anthony Fedorov
Poison Ivy by The Coasters
Incomplete by the Backstreet Boys
I saw both of these as weak. Anthony really should not be on this stage, he should have never made it to Hollywood in my opinion. His story is great- overcoming the odds after his operation... Getting told he'd never even talk and then making it on to a singing competition... but he sucks.I just don't understand who it is that is keeping him on the show... He's my pick for going home tonight.
Scott Savol
George Benson’s On Broadway
Brian McKnight’s Every Time You Go Away
Scott put on good performances tonight... He will stick around this week and I'm not sure he'll even be in the bottom three... (more on that later). On just vocals, I'd say Scott is the best of who is left. I did my part for the Vote For The Worst last night and called his number quite a few times. (And it was busy a lot!)
Vonzell Solomon
Elvis Treat Me Nice
When You Tell Me That You Love Me as sung by … the "American Idol" finalists
Baby V... She's a fun, energetic singer... But she's not good enough to be where she is. She'll be in the bottom three for sure tonight. And she slaughtered the Elvis tune to the point that my wife didn't even recognize it...
Bo Bice
Stand By Me by Ben E. King
Heaven by Los Lonely Boys
Now for the superstars... Bo was just good. He looked like he belonged exactly where he was. And he chooses songs that fit him exactly. Go Bo!
Carrie Underwood
Elvis Trouble
Rascal Flatts' Bless The Broken Road
Carrie is the other superstar... She will be a big country artist after this is over... She also chose her songs well.. I was impressed.
The bottom three tonight is tricky... I know Anthony and Vonzell will be there, but i can't say who will join them. Logically, I'd say Scott... But I think with all the publicity that Vote For The Worst has gotten in the last few days, he may not be. I won't even guess between Bo and Carrie who would get the least votes... Either way, I'm sure both of them are safe... Guess we'll have to wait and see who ends up on the short side...
Bottom three
Anthony
Vonzell
???????
Going home
Anthony
Amazing Race
After departing from the pit stop, everyone had to go find the whirling dervishes and get there next clue.... Apparently a whirling dervish is a guy in a white dress who spins around like a child making himself dizzy in some show of devotion to their faith. Anyway, they grabbed their clues and found out they needed to fly to Londaon and visit Abbey Road....
Uchenna and Joyce and Meridith and Gretchen both got tickets for a direct flight on Turkish Air leaving at 8:30am and arriving at 10:30am....
Rob & Amber checked the Internet and found tickets through a connection in Frankford that would arrive earlier, but they'd have to be on standby in Frankford.... They decided to chance it. Somehow, Ron & Kelly found this option too and decided to cahnce it also.
So Rob & Amber and Ron & Kelly all made it an hour and a half earlier than the rest... Romber got on the train first and it left without Ron & Kelly... They went to Abbey Road and enlisted a local to help them out.... After Abbey Road, they went to a big ferris wheel and had to spot the next clue...
Detour - Brains or Brawn
Both Romber and Ron & Kelly chose the brains, while the other two teams chose the brawn (go figure)... Brains was riding the tube thru a series of clues to end up on Baker Street getting the next clue from Sherlock Holmes... Brawn was moving 5 boats from the water up a path and stacking them. I figured Meridith was going to have a heart attack doing that, but somehow he made it...
Anyways, Romber finished first, and raced to their next clue... which also had a yield... The chose to yeild Ron & Kelly. The Roadblock was driving a double decker bus through a series of cones without hitting any... it proved to be difficult for most of the racers....
In the end, Romber got to the pitstop first, and they won a home entertainment center for their efforts... Ron & Kelly made it second, and Uchenna and Joyce made it third. Meridith and Gretchen came in last and were booted off....
Next week is the 2 hour finale....

Tonight On American Idol.....
Judges critiques...
First up... Vonzell
Randy - Yo yo yo Baby V! What can I say? it was a'ight for me... you started a little pitchy, but you pulled it off in the end....
Paula - WOW! I have to stand up and try not to fall down and give you a standing ovation....
Simon - I could have seen that in any brothel in Singapore... What is this, American Karaoke Idol?
Next up... Anthony-
Randy - Dawg! Who'd have thought you'd pull up something like that to try to sing? Are you sure you want to be here?
Paula - Woooohooooo... I'm feeling my buzz now... The rainbows that came out of your ears during that performance were trippy! Damn, I feel good!
Simon - Atrocious! Horrible! And the bad news is... you really Suck.
Next up, Carrie
Randy - You were stiff, but the vocals were incredible... If you showed just a bit more cleavage, I'd give this to you right now.
Paula - Uhhhhhhh... where am I ? And Why do I just sit here clapping like a seal? The colors!
Simon - You are going to win this if I have to hire a million people to repeatedly call your number for the full two hours.
Next, Bo
Randy - About time somebody comes out and shows the others what it means to be an American Idol. You did yer thing dawg!
Paula - Bo... are you sure you quit the drugs after the conviction? I sure could use a bump right about now.
Simon - That was great, but you can't beat Carrie... She's so damn cute.
And Last but not least, Scott
Randy - Dawg... I can't understand why you are still here... Sometimes I wonder about America... Can somebody get Paula to stop licking my ankles?
Paula -
Simon - The Vote For The Worst people are making a mockery out of me... I just don't get it... Judging your performance, I'd tell you to pack your bags... But I have a feeling you won't even see the bottom three tonight.
Ryan - And there you have it folks, your top 5. Please call and vote for your favorite, unless your favorite is Scott... you've had your little fun, but we won't get another season if ya'll are successful with this. Please.... keep me employed! Please! I need this job! And remember... Do not watch ABC's trashy hit peice on us.... It's not true, no matter what they say. Seacrest out!
Your next American Idol will be........
I have changed my mind....
I have been watching the coverage that Vote For The Worst has gotten recently and I think that they are now going to be a major force this year.... so much so that I have decided that Scott Savol will be the next American Idol. Today, almost every news website has an article that mentions Vote the worst.... Fox even went so far as to put out a long statement about how they think it's an insignificant portion of the voters who are trying to keep Scott in... But all the publicity can only work in Vote the worst's favor... Many who never heard of it now know that there is an option to the folks who Simon and company have been pimping since the beginning.
My choice for winner would still be Bo, and I still think Carrie is a close second.... BUT- I now think Scott will beat both of them out.
And I will be laughing the entire time.

Where's George
Woohooooo....
I got a hit today on a dollar that I entered into Where's George! If you haven't heard of Where's George, you should check it out.... the way it works, you mark a dollar with the website www.wheresgeorge.com and you enter in the serial number to the site... then you go spend the money like you normally would.... Somebody somewhere is bound to get it and wonder what the markings are about... and they go and enter it in to the website.... Then you get an idea of where that money you spent has travelled to. It's pretty cool actually.
I bought a stamp that I use to mark my bills with... I know... ya'll probably are sitting out there now thinking I'm some kind of dork... well fine.... But I still think it's pretty cool to see how your bills travel around.
New Nickel
Have you seen the new nickels yet? I got one over the weekend and have kept it in my pocket since then.... every time I pull it out it freaks me out.... It just doesn't look real.
Pictures!
I started a second Blog just for pictures... Visit it
HERE...
Hopefully I can use it as a place to always have quick access to my pictures rather than watching them get deleted off of here with new updates....
Anyway... Hope everybody had a great weekend... I know I did... went to the zoo and had a great time.
